TWIGS Auditions, Visual Storytelling

A movie is only as good as its story. Learn the principles of storytelling; how to nd a story; and how to develop characters for lm. You will complete a series of assignments that can be used for the high school audition for our newly established Film and Visual Storytelling Program. Writing exercises are essential to this class. Classes will on meet Saturdays from October to January.

Students entering 8th grade in September 2017 can audition.

9 am Students with the last names beginning with A-L

1 pm Students with the last names beginning with M-Z

Each applicant must write a story based on a photograph they will receive as part of their application online. It is important that applicants bring the story to the audition. At the audition, applicants should be prepared to write an additional story, talk about their favorite lm, book, graphic novel, fable, or fairy tale.
