Baltimore School for the Arts Alumna Adena Varner is a teaching artist, playwright, and director. And just a few years after joining the education department at Baltimore’s Center Stage, she has been promoted to senior staff. In her new role as director of learning and social accountability, Varner will curate learning spaces in which meaningful civic and educational programming can take place in the community, schools, and arts institutions.
