The Center for Creative Arts and Technology will offer three courses during June 24-July 3. You must register by May 10. Classes are open to everyone.
The schedule will be: 9 am – 12 pm class; noon – 12:30 pm lunch (please bring your lunch); 12:30 – 3 pm class.
360 Video Summer Intensive
Instructors: Pat Galluzzo and Kat Navarro
Learn and explore immersive narrative with 360 video capturing, stitching, and editing. In this course we will cover capturing 360 video footage, 360 editing workflows in Premiere Pro, and advanced masking and graphic integration in After Effects. FREE
Intro to Animation
Instructor: Ms. Emma Ayala
Learn the basics and principles of animation in the Intro to Animation summer intensive. This course will cover various animation techniques from traditional to digital.
Digital Music Production: Performing with Ableton Live
Instructor: Mr. Christian Whitley
These sessions are planned to introduce Ableton Live, not only as a production application, but also a performance tool to enhance musicians’ performances on an electronic platform. The instruction will cover an Ableton Live overview, recording techniques, programming with production and live performance emphasis, and mixing techniques. At the end of the intensive, students will perform their production for the class.
All summer courses require a $50 non-refundable deposit at time of registration. Full payment is due by/on the first day of class. Payments can be made via cash, check, or credit card. For credit card payments, a link will be sent via email once registration is received. Make checks payable to Baltimore School for the Arts Foundation. Cash and checks must be delivered to Pat Galluzzo or Kat Navarro in the CCAT.
A limited amount of scholarship is available for BSA students only. No portfolio or experience is necessary to apply. You must apply here by May 10.
