The Charles C. Baum Symposium for Business and the Arts is a forum dedicated to exploring the new and developing trends in the creative workforce. It is an opportunity for our students to make the connection between what they are learning in the classroom to their future careers. The symposium is made possible through a generous grant from the Aaron and Lillie Straus Foundation. Jan Rivitz, Head of the Straus Foundation, conceived this symposium in memory of Charles Baum, her dear friend, and colleague. In the past, this event has featured distinguished guests including Thomas Rothman, Chairman of Sony Pictures, and Christian Siriano ’04, BSA alum and international fashion mogul.
This event is a great way to inspire students to be thinking about the intersection of entrepreneurship and the arts.
