TWIGS Director & Instructor, Musical Theatre - Becky Mossing

Becky Mossing is a graduate of the Baltimore School for the Arts, as well as NYU's Tisch School of the Arts where she received the Outstanding Achievement Award in musical theatre. Mossing received her master of arts in teaching degree from Goucher College in 2000. She has worked as an actor Off Broadway, in national tours, and in regional theatre. She has taught acting and/or musical theatre classes at Everyman Theatre, Summer Stock Performing Arts Camp, and in New York at Musical Theatre Works, Inc. She is currently the co-director of The Hippodrome Foundation’s summer theatre camp. Becky’s cabaret performances can be seen regularly in the Baltimore area.

TWIGS Program Assistant - Iris Andersen

Iris Andersen graduated from Baltimore School for the Arts and holds a BFA in dance from the California Institute of the Arts. While attending CalArts, she was nominated for the Princess Grace Award and studied abroad at the London Contemporary Dance School. From 2004 to 2011 she danced with the Francisco Martinez Dancetheatre, performing concert works as well as outreach lecture demonstrations in Los Angeles and South Bay schools. Her award-winning choreography has been featured on stage and on film. Iris was a principle dancer and faculty member with Pasadena Dance Theatre in Pasadena, CA, from 2003 to 2011. In addition, she served as Operations Manager of PDT, overseeing the company’s Dance Conservatory and assisting in the coordination of studio and company productions, outreach performances and marketing. 

TWIGS School/Parent Liaison - Michael Solomon

Michael Solomon has a degree in English from Harvard College, and is the author of several books. He began working at BSA in 1989, as a substitute teacher, and joined the TWIGS staff in 2001.
