There’s a place for everyone at BSA. Our clubs and affinity groups bring students together to build community, celebrate identity, and explore passions beyond their arts discipline. Our clubs and affinity groups include:

Aspiring Medical Professionals and Scientists (AMPS)

Aspiring Medical Professionals and Scientists (AMPS) Club provides a valuable opportunity for students to learn about careers and topics in health and STEM, develop leadership experience, prepare for life after high school, and gain and spread knowledge.

Asian Student Union (ASU)

ASU’s vision is to create an inclusive environment that honors and celebrates the diversity and beauty of Asian cultures. We empower, educate, and support all students who are interested in Asian and Asian American issues.

Book Club
BSA Muse Newspaper Club

The BSA Muse is the student-run newspaper and public forum for student expression at the Baltimore School for the Arts (BSA). Students produce quarterly issues of writing, photography, and original artwork.

Christian Student Group (CSG)

Christian Student Group is a space for students of all faiths and backgrounds to build community and support. Club meets bi-monthly after school.

Community Service Club

The Community Service Club empowers BSA students to make a positive impact through volunteerism, service projects, donation drives, school-wide initiatives, and community partnerships throughout Baltimore. Students have opportunities to build leadership skills, support meaningful causes, and strengthen connections between BSA and the surrounding community.

Green Team

The Green Team strives to inspire a culture of environmental awareness by empowering students to develop leadership skills, engage in their community, and build a lifelong commitment to protecting the planet. Highlights of the Green Team’s year include the annual Seedling Sale and Community Earth Day Celebration.

Jewish Student Group (JSG)

The JSG (Jewish Student Group) provides programming and resources for students who are Jewish or want to learn more about Judaism. We host events around the Jewish holidays and coordinate the gracious Holocaust-survivor speakers that the school has been fortunate to hear from every year.

Latino Student Union (LSU)

The LSU is a group of students and faculty who have deep connections to Spanish-speaking countries. Our goal is to support each other by sharing and celebrating the food, film, music, games, and holidays from home.” We also host conversations and discussions on topics relevant to being a first or second generation immigrant in Baltimore City and at BSA.
