**Please note: Due to Covid-19, BSA will not be hosting any shadow days during the 2021-2022 school year.**
Our Shadow Day program allows prospective students to get a glimpse of what life is really like as a student at Baltimore School for the Arts. You’ll spend half a day in different freshman year arts courses in the department of your choice. Afterwards, you’ll have a brown bag lunch with Assistant Principal for Academics Tom Askey to discuss our award-winning college-prep program. (Your parents are welcome to join in for lunch as well.)
Spots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Our program fills up quickly, and we regrettably have more interest in the program than we have spots available. However, shadowing is solely to help prospective students learn more about the school; it has no bearing on the application or audition process. If you are offered a seat at the Baltimore School for the Arts and have not yet shadowed, you will be offered further shadow opportunities in the spring.
