Lyon van den Oord

My name is Lyon, and I’m a Baltimore-based teacher, graphic designer, and photographer, inspired by my childhood in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.Themes of play, childlike joy, curiosity, and exploration run throughout my work. I strive to capture the youthfulness of life, documenting moments that show the energy and excitement of humanity. I teach brand design, UI/UX, motion graphics, 3D design, and special effects for filmmaking at the Maryland Institute College of Art and motion graphics & compositing here at BSA.
