Shalise Allison began her teaching journey by joining the Baltimore School for the Arts in 2019. Born in Jamaica, she migrated to the USA at nine, and navigating the Baltimore City Public School system fueled her determination to impact young minds’ lives positively. Her academic pursuits took me to Morgan State University, where she earned my undergraduate degree in Biology and later a Master of Arts in Teaching. Her educational background and ardent commitment to children’s well-being drive her dedication to fostering a nurturing learning environment. In addition, she is a Walter WRAIR and Morgan State University (GEMS) mentor teacher and a professional development leader for Baltimore City Schools.
Shalise enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends when not in the classroom.
